Don't Judge Me!!!

21 September 2012, 12:08
DON'T JUDGE ME!!!

“Don’t judge me” has become a defensive statement for those who are confronted with the truth about their lifestyle or when failing to accept responsibility for their wrong choices, decisions, behaviour or actions. The term “judgment” has become familiar in the minds of those who already know the truth but continue doing wrong in anyway. This kind of reaction is in itself an admission of guilt, but instead of accepting responsibility we defend ourselves. The reality is that there’s a difference between being judgmental and telling the truth, and some people just care enough to tell or affirm to you how your behaviour or choices are wrong.

The truth of the matter is that people judge themselves silently and then react defensively when someone affirms it. Nobody has the ability to judge someone because judgment does not end with just talking but acting on the words given. People who know or have a sense of wrong and wright has ...
the ability to discern the nature of a behaviour, choice or action based on that knowledge, and by sharing the truth they are just affirming it. In simpler terms, when a judge gives judgement in court and declares a person guilty or not guilty, the person will either be thrown in jail or be set free.

It is unfortunate that some people are not able to separate the act from the actor, instead of saying “what you did is wrong” they say “you are wrong.” It doesn’t matter how many times people curse you to hell, they have no control over who goes there or not. Some can only go as far as “go to hell” but they cannot say “I sentence you to hell” simply because they don’t have the capacity to send you there. Now, your reaction to such statements will clearly prove your level of consciousness towards your actions, it will tell if you've already judged yourself or not.

Now, if your concious is confortable with whatever you do, the term judgment will not cross your mind. Some people don't judge, they only tell and affirm the truth so that people can be made free. So, you just need to be matured enough to handle the truth regardless of how it is told.
