Don't let rifles do more Terror, please Obama.

22 January 2013, 08:06

By: Sivuyile S. Sesi

Blacks and Whites it's easy to be hurt and spoiled, respectively. The children are caught in the middle of it and that raises concerns. The school shooting in the US is unacceptable.

Oprah Winfrey (2011/09/11) on her facebook page posted "As we remember the tragic events that etched September 11 on our calendars ten years ago, let us remember the nearly 3000 lives that were lost on that day. And let us also remember those who are fighting for their lives, and our country, even today."

Now Obama's daughters are caught in the middle of cross fire, the a president children do have the previlege to study at better schools as they make their own lives. The are children they can go for days mindless of guns but lining better African American child life.

Many in South African think that's only in movies and fairytale as that's the most way we connect with America, many here when its the quality say  "its like on TV" while US, say "we do it like we doing it for TV".

Michelle Obama, when she visited South Africa, she went key places  that show she is for the better of young people's lives in Africa. Meeting Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, visiting Cape Town Stadium built during 2010 Fifa world cup and talking to high school pupils at University of Cape Town, encouraging them to take advantage of opportunities available at institutions like UCT, not to marginalize themselves.

Guns destroy men, women and children lives. What happened at  Friday’s shooting at an elementary school in US is unacceptable I applaud Obama for coming up with constructive solutions, terror is worse.

On Friday, 18 January Barack Obama shared on his facebook page as"Now is the time. Say you stand with the President and Vice President to reduce gun violence: http://OFA.BO/onN3YZ. linking to the Obama and Biden website which they state that on making schools safer they pledge to "Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship, and institutions of higher education"
Schools do need high safety and security. They are place and environment at the best time of our lives as we grow up, with useful resources to focus on.

Let's build better people on our children, and not promote guns.
