I would absolutely love it if all stores that sell food would consider selling there perishables at a lower price eg bread, dairty products, fruit, vegetables, eggs, What happens to these products that pass there sell by date and go rotten??? The answer is NOTHING, as once food goes rotten its the end of the road.
If all stores that sell food dropped the prices, more people would go to the bed satisifed every night and there wouldnt be as much WASTE>
Its simple SPQR the main thing I remember from my Business class in High School which stands for:

Profits
Quick
Returns
I am sick to death sometimes going to a store and I see people deciding on whether to buy bread or milk as they simply can't afford to buy both.
