I’m new to news24, thought I’d get stuck in to some lively debate on life, religion, the cosmos, quantum theory and so on. I wrote a few articles to stimulate the debate (enjoyed writing the Virus article). My views are obvious, I am an atheist, I don’t choose to be an atheist; there is just no evidence for a deity. Evidence that biodiversity was produced by natural selection is overwhelming.
What I was not prepared for was the insanity that followed in the comments section; some of the humor on the other hand was outstanding!

Most comments on above "acitizensperspective" article are so anti God and specifically anti Christian, which proves it is Satanists trying to mislead you.
Nothing else than God denouncing satanists posing as atheists, evolutionists and Big Bang Theory experts that try to convince you that their false facts are proven "theories", while it is not.
Fraudsters and deceivers whom stand exposed as intellectually dishonest and consummate liars that punt they so know it all, while clearly they are foul mouthed expert Word and Meaning Benders, whom in all try to confuse and lead you on.
They are by religion devoted satanists, mainly cloaked as atheist to hide their true satanic identity. Hopelessly lost souls the Word tells you to banish if they refuse from letting them be warned.
If Christians totally ignore these Satanists it will drive them to actual madness, for only mad people talk to themselves.
For your own perseverance and sanity, walk away, log out of here.
There are so many misconceptions here, the most obvious is that Atheism is non belief, as the now classic line reads, “atheism is a religion like abstinence is a sex position”.
Then there are the insults ‘Foul mouthed expert word and meaning benders’. Great! There is a new Avatar! Katara the water bender, Zuko the fire bender and atheist the word & meaning bender..
I do enjoy the mix of modern English with old biblical English. ‘Whom’ gives it a feeling of authority!

Brothers and sisters do not lose your breath because of this scum called atheists. They claim say they are intellects. Who is no an intellect? Their intellect is DUNG. Do not fret because of them. Be patient, just for a while!
So much wrong with this one, grammar, spelling and the most telling, the distain for Intellectualism.

Then there are all the bible verses – some believe quoting the bible is proof of the validity of their position.
Why is the bible true, because it says so in the bible, huh?
All the holy books say the same thing, they all can’t be right; chances are they are all wrong!
I look forward to some intelligent, stimulating debate, until then I’ll enjoy the comedy!
