E-Tag Song

02 February 2014, 10:13
I have written an "E-tag" song. Unfortunately I cannot sing, so I've just posted the lyrics. It's to the tune of "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse.
"E-Tag Song"
They tried to make me buy an e-tag but i said, 'No, no, no'
Yes Sanral's back, but they're full of crap, you should know know know
I ain't got the time but Vusi Mona thinks its fine
He's tried to make me get an e-tag but I won't go, go, go
I'd rather refuse to pay
I ain't got seven days cause there's nothing
There's nothing you can tell me
That makes me want to pay Sanral
I might just be perplexed
But I know a tax invoice don't come by text
They tried to make me get an e-tag but I said, 'No, no, no.'
Yes threats are rife but screw all the hype they can blow, blow, blow
I ain't gonna sign when the conditions are not fine
They tried to make me buy an e-tag but I won't go, go, go
VPC said, 'Why do you think we're here?'
I said, 'I got no ideaI'm gonna, I'm gonna pay eventually
I just want to see a picture here'
He said, 'I think you're just depressed, Pay me, or in jail, you'll go rest.'
They tried to make buy an e-tag but I said, 'No, no, no'
Yes they're on the map but e-tolls should be scrapped you know know know
I don't ever wanna hear from them
We just, yes, we just shouldn't pay
I'm not gonna spend more money
When i pay tax and a fuel levy
It's not just my prideIt's just 'til these gantries have all died
They tried to make me buy an e-tag but I said, 'No, no, no'
Yes, bills are too high the system won't fly and the economy won't grow grow grow
The statements aren't on time but Sanral think its fine
They tried to make me get an e-tag but I won't go, go, go.
