E-Toll Economics

08 January 2014, 07:22

What surprised me the most of the ANC is the fact that they are in favour of a socialist economy yet they went and privatised (in a manner of speaking) the highways in Gauteng.  Clearly the ANC government took this approach because it is profitable.  They even admitted it.

The expectation was that the ANC would have taken a more socialist approach like raising taxes for the middle class and upper middle class because that is more in the spirit of socialism and redistribution of wealth.

It just goes to show that deep inside the darkest corners of the socialist mind they are all capitalists especially if a profit is to be made or their own riches are at stake.
