We have just received a bill from e-toll for our boat trailer which lives in our garage in Cape Agulhas.
The trailer has never crossed into Gauteng but apparently on 18 May (while we were in USA!) our boat trailer morphed into a sedan type car and went for a drive through 3 toll points!!!
We now have a bill for R48.39 for a car that is illegally using our number plate and have to take all sorts of measures to ensure that we are not arrested for this at a road block.
Before SANRAL started this e tolling it would have been wise to get the illegal use of license plates sorted out first.
This is not the first time that one of our vehicles’ licences has been used – our motorbike (which also lives in the same garage) has racked up a hefty number of fines in its’ parallel life as a Golf in Bellville.
If this is happening twice to one household then is a problem that is totally out of control.
