Mini skirts and crop tops have been banned in Swaziland. According to the police, these revealing clothes “ encourage rape”
The police went out of their way to revive the criminal act 1889 to stop women from wearing clothes that will expose their body.
My opinion?
I think this is all just a bunch of nonsense. It seems to me that the blame is getting shifted to us females, in other words, they are saying that we actually ask to get raped! Its completely disgusting and scary at the same time. Point is if they want to rape you they will, regardless if your covered up or half-naked.
Ladies
As females we should not give our community the power and tell us what to wear, but on the other hand let us not forget about the acceptable conduct of behavior.
MEN ARE SUPPOSE TO BE OUR SHIELD AGAINST ALL THE BAD THINGS IN OUR COMMUNITY, INSTEAD OF HARMING US.
