First of all I would like to state that I too have trolled other users but that was merely a reaction to the defacing my articles have suffered at the hands of trolls. For that it would not be fair to myself if I had to apologise to every one whom I have trolled. That can be counted on the fingers of one hand. In fact it just did not feel good doing so: somewhat perverted in a sick manner, somewhat criminal.
Currently I have 255/56 articles to my name and as far as I remember every single one has been defaced by certain persons. I feel that due to those defacements I have been exposed to the crude humour and invalid advice, and it would be in order for me to name those persons which are responsible for this petty past-time.
A troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages .in an on-line community such as a forum, chat room or blog with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
The media has used the term, troll, to describe a person who defaces internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families.
In my case this deranged act was perpetrated by **********, One sensed the glee and satisfaction he was experiencing at his handiwork. Disgusting to say the least. This occurred with one of my first articles posted. The article related to the death of the actress Susannah York. Some months later the comments were erased
Trolling also has its hilarious moments if I may go according to AFCON: NEW LAWS OF ENGAGEMENT. My good friend RAMMSTEEN tried to use the article as a medium to teach me something about soccer. My answer was conveniently erased. (Have been with soccer since 1967). That is still one thing I must be taught and that is how to erase comments, or, look for grammatical or spelling mistakes. Is it fair to judge someone in absentia? If he is a troll then he can be judged anywhere.
What I found interesting was DUMBWIN He would always arrive at the new posted article laden with the non-existent Bergie and sometimes with the non-existent EMMET. The inane contribution would be Dumbwin on top, followed by Bergie and last his 3rd henchman. Always in that format which proved Bergie and emmet are non-existent entities.
Nothing is sacred, The more beautiful and pure a thing is, the more satisfying it is to corrupt it.
Some psychologists have suggested that flaming would be caused by deindividuation or decreased self evaluation. (A little looney).
Trolls aspire to violence, to a level of trouble they can cause in an environment. They want it to kick off. They want to promote antipathetic emotions of disgust and outrage.
