Please know that this is only my personal views on the subject of fear, I am in no way an expert in the field of fear (is there even a field for fear?) nor am I highly educated (I have Matric certificate and a tertiary qualification, I see myself through the eyes of others).
Fear… it can be found in many things, in my own opinion and own life experience I have found fear in objects (including unseen objects) and creatures (creatures include humans). These things in my view from the small box (point of view) I live in are the two main categories of fear and they contain many, many sub categories I don’t think anyone can name them all because of the pure chaos fear causes in our own minds.
Fear started from the very beginning of time, meaning when we (humans) knew time we knew fear, fear and time are very much the same. You can almost say when humans existed, that fear existed I think this will be the more correct statement to use. To Fear evolution or creationism is completely irrelevant.
Fear is almost an object, maybe the man in that neat suit with a red tie and shiny shoes walking with a cane up and down trying to find another object or creature to corrupt. Fear in my eyes is the strongest emotion, it can control so many things on so many levels and it runs deep, deep in the core of our very existence.
Literally we are letting Fear win; it feeds on us and only gets stronger, like the hydra in Hercules if you cut of one head a few more come out. It’s funny, the way that I think of fear, I think it’s man kinds greatest nemesis, because it can be friendly when you need it to be friendly, it can be good but it can multiply to become twice as evil as it was good.
Fear doesn’t care about good and evil, it only cares about power and victims. I can feel it here when I sit and look out my window at the sky still trying to figure out a question someone once asked me, if I would look into the mirror in my mind what do I see… I still don’t know the answer to that question.
Anyone or anything can wield fear consciously or even subconsciously, it’s as easy as saying: “boo” and someone would be frightened. “Illness (aids, cancer, cholera etc) can cause fear, politics, religion, resources: water (acid water in Carolina) electricity etc can cause fear… the list goes on and on and on!
And I think the biggest thing fear likes is money, money makes the world go round as the saying goes, it’s not the world it is fear. Fear the nemesis, and let me tell you the truth hope, dreams, ambition those things are lost to fear, it takes them and squishes them like they were nothing.
Sometimes fear makes us ask these technical questions: Who are we really? Why are we here? All are irrelevant to fear; we’re the fish in its barrel and ready to be shot at anytime. After seeing the story on Carte Blance about that mine I started to realize how much we lie every day of our lives, especially to ourselves.
To lie to someone is caused by fear, fear that we might find out what the truth is. Ah truth … truth is in vain to fear; very in vain it burns in our eyes. If they say that there is still time left in life they are telling a big fat lie, time doesn’t matter life has become a domino effect how long do we still have left to save ourselves from ourselves I wonder?
Ironic isn’t it? Saving ourselves from ourselves, damn! What a mouth full, if you want to call me a doom prophet go right ahead and do it, the mask I wear every day doesn’t give a hoot what you say. The other side of me, the dream me would convince you that there is hope all of us must work together take charge of our lives, and the only way the figurative finger can point is at ourselves.
The fault lays with each and every one of us, we were the gears suppose to run the big machine and we messed up, it’s no one else’s fault its just you and me, the mirror will reflect that finger right back at you my friends and you have to accept it and do something about it, conquer fear by no longer obeying it, it doesn’t take education, politics or things like that to conquer fear no it takes determination, courage, bravery, belief (in yourself), trust and a little fairy dust to conquer it.
If we don’t wake up soon out of our dream world we are all going to fall like dominoes because they are already falling, maybe it will take a long time or maybe not who knows, light up your torches and pitchforks if you want and come and get me because I am not afraid to speak my mind anymore (Ha! Get it?) Our hope is running out, soon our resources will crash as well (water, money, electricity etc…)
Take charge of your life now and take charge of your fear wield it as your weapon instead as your fault!
