Five steps to solve your problems

19 October 2012, 21:27
The was a guy in Varsity who was lazy to study, or shall I say; he could n`t find motivation to study. He realize this is a problem and he try to talk to his friends and people around him, trying to find inspiration to study whatsoever. He could find anything. He then went to his mentor and he was referred to a psychologist by his mentor after elaborating about his problem.

He then make an appointment to meet the psychologist. The day came, He was waiting in the waiting area, where the psychologist personal assistant is situated. Because this problem was a burden to him with exams coming up he was trying to get rid off it as quickly as he can. So he started to talk to the assistant, explaining his problems. After 15 minutes of non stop talking, the assistant stopped him and said "look, I hear you but you`re talking to the wrong person, the person whom your supposed to talk to is in another room, please proceed to the next room"

He proceeded to the next room, he was asked to sit down nicely and he was given a chance to elaborate on his problem. He started to lay it down the way it is...after several minutes, the psychologist looked at him and and said, " I hear you but you`re talking to the wrong person, the person whom you're supposed to talk to is in another room and he is the one who can help you, please proceed to the next room ". He was shocked because he was looking for help and it seems like he is not getting one from a specialist as well, but without any question, he proceeded to the next room.

The next room was just an empty room with a curtain on the wall. He asked himself so many questions because  he was expecting to see someone in that room. But he thought maybe there is a secret door behind the curtain or something whatsoever, so he went in there and open the curtain. Behind the curtain , the was a mirror and the only person he could see was himself through the mirror.

At this time something clicked to his mind, the words of the Psychologist that " the only person whom your supposed to talk to is in another room and he/she is the one who can help you, please proceed to the next room "

What I am Saying to you:

1) The firs step of solving such problem is realizing that this is a problem as the guy who tried to talk to his friends.

2) The second step is to have someone who can always give you advice on what proper channels you can follow, just like the guy who had a mentor, which is the one that referred him to the Psychologist.

3) The third step is to realize that there are no secret doors that you can use to run away or solve your problem, the answer lies within you.

4) So it's time to take initiative by standing up and move to the mirror, look at it and see the person who is in it, that person is the only one who can help you.

5) It's time you realize that some problems don`t require you to go to a specialist. it does not require a rocket scientist but it requires self.

So, the only person who can help you with such is yourself. You need to step up. you need wake up, kick that blanket. change some of things you do and remember, in order to accommodate something new in your life, you have to sacrifice something else. Maybe you have to sacrifice some of the things you do in your spare time. Maybe you have to sacrifice some friends, they way you spent your time. The person you`re spending time with. it is all up to you but at this point I am sure you have realized that, there are some things you need to alter in your life and believe me if you sit down and think about it, you will actually know which ones.

Majority poverty

Being a majority has its advantages and disadvantages, based on various aspects of demographics the citizenry. As far as services are concerned it will always be the minority who will benefit most from government as their numbers can be serviced with the least of money, amenities in their areas will last longer be kept in working order better because of the low demand for it, while on the other hand in the areas of majority it is the excessive usage of services which causes numerous breakdowns and eventually no services. Read more...
