After my previous article I realized that I was finished rollin like a Saffer boss yet.
Lekker long weekend and I'm in a good mood so why not...
Gooi that Verimark oke's voice here: "But wait, theres MORE!"
Ok, so I switch off the windscreen wipers and look around quickly to make sure no-one noticed my wiper fumble.
That's when I notice a Giraffes head in the middle of the street.
I'm like "Wut?"
I ram on the brakes and make the international sign for mind reading to the cars behind me, you know, the half wave with apologetic eyebrows and a
hint of a smile? Ja, like that.
Anyhoo, I climb out of the car and walk towards aforementioned zaràfa head.
By now a small crowd has gathered behind me so I assume my best Bear Grylls pose and keep walking slowly towards the head.
A hush goes up from the crowd as the head starts to slowly turn towards me.
I get such a fright that I take Malema's name in vain. "Julius!"An onlooker gasps in religious disgust and makes the sign of a US dollar on her chest.
"Sorrie" I breathe, not taking my eyes off the apparently living head in front of me.
The eyes blink and my heart skips a beat, I knyp a bruin broek and edge forward, all the while my mind racing through every possibility for this supernatural occurrence.
Maybe it's a government experiment, maybe it's like a snake or a chicken or something, but is that the body or the head that lives after being severed?
I dunno, I'm so freaked out I can't think lekker so I decide to do what any self respecting Saffer would do in my place... I'm gonna take a photo!
Slowly I reach into my back pocket for my phone and hit the camera button on the side. This is gonna be bigger than the Shark attack in Zillehoek!
Thoughts of YouTube fame and fortune run through my head, this is it!
I slowly lift the phone.
Suddenly...
The head moves again and I freeze.
"Seejittt! it's looking straight at me!"
This time my knyp is unsuccessful.
And then... I kid you not, the thing speaks!
"Dude! You gonna help me out of this pothole or just stand there like a tourist and take photos?"
