As I walked through the bushes I saw a different assortment of flora and fauna, flowers; plants and trees,an abundance of insects that I never took into cognizance of their existence. South Africa is rich in natural resources, beauty and splendour sweeping across our landscapes that seem to tame even the wildest man. There are millions of different species of wildlife on planet earth that reflect individual character and persona of beauty and good in their lifestyles. Each an every living organism, man, animal or plant, God saw "good" in everything He Created in this universe.
When do we classify people or something as good or as bad, do we have the right to judge. If God perceived all His Creation as “good”, are we then entitled to an opinion of looking at something and decide as good or bad?
I passed through a thick thorn bush and i caught sight of a blooming prickle tree with beautiful flowers and big thorns, I asked myself why did God create this thorny tree, what is its purpose or what value does it add on this world. I think we all have value no matter how significant it can be but there is a reason for everything created. And I asked myself would it matter if that prickle tree was not there or what about a fly? How many animals or plant or even people do you see and meet, do you wonder on the reason for its existence.
Many of us have asked this question about the existence of certain entities in this life. Some even dispute the fact “life” has a purpose and there is a reason for its existence.
But God created everything that exist in this world for a “reason “and in His eyes everything is “good”, even the angels glorify and envy man created.
This country is inundated by cries of help from the government of escalating cases of abuse, woman are terrorised by man who seem to be intent on destroying the “good” of this world. There are "man" out there who discredits the creation of God by planting seed of evil, raping of young and adult woman is a common trend around this country.
During this time of joy and celebration with our partners, lets perpetuate the acts of love and respect for all, young and vulnerable, but not to take advantage or evade somebody privacy of a lesser or weaker species.
The spirit of St Valentine’s Day should be carried among us each an everyday of our lives.
