How much longer must genuine dairy product consumers face the deceit and fraud and unknown horrendous and dire health situations.
This as the Government have allowed the Food and Beverage Industry and Hospitality Industries and others to advertise, market, distribute and sell "Imitation Dairy Substances" as Genuine Dairy Products. Namely Fresh Cream, Cream, Butter Cream, in and on a multitude of food products and cakes, pastries and confectioneries.
Cheap and dastardly Imitation substances that are man made industrial concoctions of chemicals added to partially hydrogenated or completely hydrogenated vegetable oils and fats.
Imitation Substances that the World Health Organisation and a multitude of Local and International health professionals, experts, councils and foundations have all called for the outlawing of for many years. Due to the horrendous and dire health implications of consuming this/these substance/s.
Most first world countries have either banned the substance outright or it is extremely highly monitored for many many years.
Yet in South Africa the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health having past ,current and future legislation at their various disposals to eliminate and prohibit this illegal business mannerism's.
Have allowed the Food and Beverage Industry and the Hospitality Industries and others to sell this imitation substance as Fresh Cream, Cream and Butter Cream to unsuspecting customers and consumers for more years than can even be guessed at. At exorbitant prices in most instances.
Question is... Do we as customers and consumers allow it to continue unabated. Allow the fraud and horrendous and dire health risks against us to continue??
Or do we bring the Government and the F&B Industry as a whole to JUSTICE??!!
Likewise how many other horrendous and dire products are we all consuming. Due to illegal, false, mis-representative and misleading advertising and marketing.
Whilst the Government and the F&B Industries continue to financially " CREAM " unsuspecting citizens and consumers unabated.
Not withstanding the scant and utter disregard for citizens health and the legal and constitutional rights they have to make educated and informed choices as to what they will or will not consume. Based on truth, trust, honesty and belief in the supplier/s, to them.
Is this how South Africa operates now?? That they have to stoop to compromising citizens food and beverages all in the name of Financial Greed and Prosperity for the chosen few.
Nothing or No One else matters??
