I don't know about the rest of you, but I am sick and tired of being told how white people in South Africa today should give up their land, because four hundred years ago, Europeans were superior warriors.
Yawn. Over it.
Here's what I propose:
Every white person in South Africa today should take a loan, using their fixed assets as collateral.
Then, get on a plane and go somewhere with an economic immigration policy, or where South Africans don't require visas. There are many countries to choose from - just google it.
The new owners can take care of the loans - after all, much of the property they're advocating 'expropriating' is already mortgaged, so what's a little more debt between friends. Might as well get your equity out, innit?
Leave South Africa to the ANC and their supporters.
If they succeed, well, then, we were all horribly wrong, and we can sponsor a statue or something (my vote goes to a Statue of Liberty sized Spear of the Nation in Cape Town harbour.)
If they don't, it'll end all the speculation once and for all.
My guess is, one way or another, we'd know in less than five years. And hey, ol' JZ with his wanger hanging out will give another option for photos in Cape Town.
