I think we can all safely say that the car of preference for any ANC official from deputy Mayor to President is the Range Rover in black with tinted windows with some blue lights.
So… I am appealing to Bentley Motors, please do not supply your latest Bentley SUV 4x4 to South Africa. I do realise you have to make a profit and all that. You can write this off as a social responsibility project. The fear is that when this amazing 4x4 as showcased at the Geneva Motor Show reaches this market every wannabe politician will be trading in their Landover’s to purchase the Bentley 4X4.
The drop down tailgate where the ANC official can stand to show off their Italian leather handmade shoes whilst addressing the poor masses is the clincher. The cherry on top will be the back seat with a fridge to hold Dom Perignon and champagne glasses when they get thirsty after hours of talking and talking and talking. The 23 inch rims are ideal to say either I am a drug dealer, criminal or an ANC official.
I write this in the hope that your sense of caring for the people of South Africa as you can look at it in the following manner; every Bentley 4x4 that does not come here may build 10 more houses. Just think of all the good you will do by not allowing our politicians to purchase these “N CAR ndla’s”.
