God v/s sacrifices

05 December 2012, 13:45
It looks like asking for support from God and the gods through sacrificing or slaughtering brings good results.

We know in the ancient era when God used to be seen and able to talk to the people, slaughtering was the main lifeline used  or  in our life time I might equate it to 101111.We know that God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son for him to be blessed but later was given a lamb to be used in the ceremony.Basically slaughtering was used if one was in serious need and wanting some support from God.

Now, Zuma slaughtered 12 cows recently with the intention of asking for a second term. Could the support that he is gaining be due the slaughtering and maybe God or gods are approving?  Before the 12 cows ceremony the odds were against Zuma and since then, things have evidently changed. What's going on here?

Maybe as people of the earth, we have forgotten how our ancient forefathers used to change things positively through practices like sacrificing the animals. This could really be an amazing thing if the sacrificing of 12 cows by Zuma and his family could have turned the tables and gained him popularity.
