I would like to get opinions on something that has risen recently as a question regarding God(s) from the South Africans that love to comment on the religious articles and fight the good fight between believers and non-believers.
It is a well-known fact (that is you can go and visit museums around the world and LOOK at the facts with your own eyes; that is a fact) that many stories in ancient times have been borrowed and re-worked to form part of new religious beliefs.
For example, in the Sumerian civilisation (pre-dating Jewish religion), there are many tales discovered that are if not 100% the same as those found in the Bible.
For example we have “The epics of Gilgimesh” that is the same story as the one of Noah. The story of creation where Adam was the first man, in ancient Sumerian ADAMU is also give name to the first name and it means, yes you guessed it “First Man” in English.
There are others, such as Isis and so on.
The Jewish Thora is filled with stories that are then borrowed and included in the Bible and finally within the book of the Koran.
But besides that we have the books from other ancient civilisations such as the Indian Mahabharata books where ancient Gods have been described as well as those of the Popol Vuh that describe the God called Viracocha (Quetzalcoatl).
These Gods (including God, angels and Jesus), are described as beings arriving from the heavens (from above). Never from another place other than Viracocha which came from the sea.
These Gods are described as similar to us, wielding weapons that from their description, they resemble an Episode from the Star Wars saga. As a matter of fact after the first atomic bomb was released abive Hiroshima, J.R . Oppenheimer described himself as “The destroyer of worlds!” from the book of Mahabharata. He was quoting a story that also described a war where Gods fought with weapons that resembled Atomic blasts.
What I am getting at, if you dig and you read and you research you will find that there is an entire chapter that has not been written in our history books and yet it exists within the pages of books that have been mentioned above. All one would have to do is to read between the lines and understand that what is being described as a God is in fact an entity that comes from space using a space craft. In the eyes of the ancient man, this seemed as a visitation from Gods and entities that we have to obey and worship.
Today we have people like Nancy that claim religion makes more sense than science, yet they are to know that this battle has already been won by science. For the mere fact that he is using technology to write his articles. When people like that claim that John has seen the revelation and God showed him the end of the world and when he saw a helicopter he was trying his best to describe it. How come THAT is accepted, but the logical fact that the same happened millennia predating John, and the ancient man could not describe the wondrous machines he came to see, and thus the writings are full of mi-understood stories that in fact reflects the fact that we HAVE been visited in the past by space-faring entities we today call aliens?
When humankind will visit planets that hold a primitive form of society, WE will be regarded as Gods and Angels and we will become part of their folklore and legends and a religious belief system will have formed around our visitations.
My question is – what do you feel of the thought that our God(s) and angels, and demons are primitive representations of past visitations of alien civilisations that may or may not have played an active role in our society’s development.
