My contestation within the spiritual realms is primarily concerned on saving humanity towards self destruction, rather than debate the existence of God. There is so much evidence of the Omnipotent God I don’t have to dwell on that, but what we must concern ourselves as a civilised society is to live a fulfilling life with first, yourself and the environment around us. The essence of God’s Will for us in this universe is reflected in His son, Jesus Christ.
The fundamental aspect of Creation was to give “the created” a chance to share and live harmoniously in a society, that characterises Jesus persona, a selfless society. It is evident that Jesus was preparing His people for a life beyond death to live in the presence of the Almighty God. It is irrelevant whether you believe in Jesus or in the Holy Book as a whole, the important factor here is that human beings are supposed to live in a communitarian (ubuntu) society, boundless of all worldly “inhibitions” that continuously distract us from divine brotherly love, all that we see now around us are corrupt government officials and people filled with egoistic and self-righteousness attitudes in preservation and sustenance of the individual, regardless of the suffering of the majority. Ethics and moral values which were embedded on us by our forefathers are no longer governing our lives, but greed and selfishness are the characteristics of our people (capitalists). As a united rainbow nation we should end capitalist’s acts and be intent on transforming our country, a better life for all and communitarianism is the answer to the scourges in our society, especially the high rate of unemployment, white collar crime; illiteracy; poverty and sexual abuse that, that are slowly destroying the fiber of our communities.
Therefore, whether you believe in the Holy Scriptures or not, Jesus is the answer to all the suffering in this world. Is the human brain of less than 10% brain power usage be ever able to comprehend the Will of God, are we capable to intrinsically penetrate the essence of God to really find the answers we looking for? With that much brain power, I guess not.
It should be better if we stop asking questions and live the kind of life with all the merits bestowed upon us in this short period of our “existence” on planet earth.
The intelligence of man is foolishness compared to the ever provident love of God.
