Gossip and the city

29 August 2012, 07:04

It seems that even as I travel the globe and as I continuously try and get away from the controversy surrounding our shores it seems to catch up with me in the form of a local New South Wales bar man , a manager at the pushiest or should I say posh-est hotel in Sydney and a few other anonymous counterparts who are more than willing to spill the beans on the whose who in Oz.

First there is the story of Joost sleeping with woman and doing drugs at the Star hotel in Sydney , but that's nothing new I say to the guy who works at the posh Star hotel as I sip my dry martini that cost me $20 and tastes like its worth 10. He goes on to pour me a drink and continues to dish dirt on random celebs. He’s a little intoxicated and probably high on some sort of drug , but that’s okay I want him to dish the dirt on our own so called celebs and their travels to Sydney.

Then it happens he mentions the African socialite that spent over $1500 a night on luxury accommodation , who insisted on having a butler and a personal stylist.

He goes on to tell me about her gambling losses and I listen closely to every detail.. He then starts a new story one about a current prime minister who brought her entire family to the posh hotel and who spent a small fortune on luxury. I wont lie in the back of my head I start fuming and I start to realize there is a lot we don’t know as tax payers and maybe that’s a good thing because it would only enrage us even more as the elite gamble and play and the poor suffer and beg.

He finally tells me one last story about the infamous Brandon Davis and how he loves to snort cocaine and get it on with blonde bombshells. At 1am Sydney time I call  it a night , but with knowledge like that I just had to share it with you.
