Harbinger Reports from the Twilight Zone

23 May 2014, 07:27

The outlandish conduct of politicians and other public figures in word or deed leaves the general public gobsmacked.

Humanity currently exists in a surreal environment in which fact is a lot stranger than fiction.

An assortment of media reports have been highlighted in support of this theme.

Top of the list must be the White House twitter account feed  revealing a photo and caption of Barrack Obama as the King sitting on an iron throne ruling  over seven kingdoms a la the TV series ‘Game of Thrones’. For those not familiar with the series it’s an excessively violent medieval fable concerning an absolute dictator (depicted by Obama) who rules by decree, subterfuge, and skulduggery. Most who occupy this throne are insane egomaniacs who rule with impunity.  Those defending the feed label it a parody, or black humour, aimed at Obama’s critics who refer to him as an Imperial President.

It’s more suggestive of cocking a snoot at his detractors, more a defiant gesture than a stab at humour as it’s certain his opponents didn't appreciate the joke. He is said to be a major fan of the series, so much so that he’s requested a private showing in advance of the public transmission, but the question is why adopt this particular persona, it’s unbecoming to say the least and provides further ammunition to his opposition, probably deservedly so, or is this just a case of delusions of grandeur. Either way, it’s disconcerting. What were his advisors thinking? Or is this deliberate subliminal messaging of sorts? Maybe the joke’s on the nation’s citizens either way.

Second up is the French Foreign Minister claiming there’re 500 hundred days left to avoid climate change chaos? Does he know something the rest of us don’t? If this isn’t attempting to provoke mass hysteria, don’t know what is, well if all else fails, why not some would say/reason.

Better yet, cash –in those savings accounts or take out a second bond to save the earth from man-made global warming whilst there’s still time. That’s if an international tax, in addition to the carbon one doesn’t kick in first.

The proof of more academic censure on the topic is provided by this link. http://www.climatechangedispatch.com/scientists-in-cover-up-of-damaging-climate-research.html

Extreme weather events are a fact and occurring more frequently and ferociously although many don’t regard Anthropogenic Global Warming as the cause.

Natural earth changes such as pole shifts and the weakening of the earth’s magnetic field can be a major cause of volatile weather patterns and temperature changes.

For more coverage of this refer to the last paragraph.

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, warned his country that taxes will have to be raised unless ‘we can raid bank accounts’ Tax officials are to be given draconian powers to act against those owing taxes to the State. There are those who will see nothing wrong with this and fail to see the implications, as well as disregard this as an attack on personal liberties by the state. As the seizure of private assets is now on the cards in the U.K. more countries will follow suit, one can bet on it. Remember Cyprus heralded the beginning by limiting people’s access to their own cash reserves, was this testing ground for further action?

U.N. Representatives met Pope who called for redistribution of wealth by governments. Is this Marxism on an international scale?

IMF calls for 10% global wealth tax to rebalance insolvent countries accounts – the reason for this state of affairs brought about by implementation of socialist policies - oh the irony! Maybe the biggest irony will be implementing world socialism via a world government to ‘save’ individual countries from themselves?

Although this article refers back to October last year it flew under the radar for the most part. Targeting developed countries (at least for now) and even those with retirement fund savings would be targeted and their assets plundered.  Capital Controls and exit restrictions would be on the cards.

IMF grants loan to Ukraine invoking special drawing rights which means that the loan will be repaid in any currency or standard decided upon by them.

It can be concluded then that the dollar is on its way out as the world’s reserve currency.

Assad’s government in Syria accused of using chemical weapons again- precursor to U.S. intervention- and retaliation by Russia.

We have been down this road before and know certain parties were itching for war which was foiled just in time by the introduction of the Russian deal.

Is this being agitated for again with much higher stakes than before, Russian and Iranian intervention will be a given this time round.

Saudi Arabia promises Russia gas deals on condition they withdraw their support of Syria’s Assad.

The Saudi’s are desperate for Russia to withdraw their support for Assad, and as Putin stands in the way of their aims they are offering sweet deals as incentives in the form of gas contracts. They pledge not to challenge Russia’s monopoly on gas sales on condition Assad is dumped.

Iran issues strategic military threats against USA.

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/180343#.U35MbJuKDcc

An Iranian commander has stated that Iran can sink an American aircraft in less than a minute, which suggests if military action in Syria steams ahead the possibility of Iran entering the conflagration is high.

Various reports point to meteorites entering earth’s atmosphere, the first one sighted in West Virginia, USA, followed by a loud boom, the second in Tennessee, and  third In Queensland Australia.

A resident there reported seeing an explosion without a sound, luckily it made landfall in the bush so no one was injured. Another claimed it looked like half- a -dozen jumbo jets falling out of the sky at the same time.

However, an Astronomer suggests the object was not a meteor but probably part of a satellite re-entering the Earth’s atmosphere.

As a commentator sarcastically remarked “Comets, meteors, and asteroids and anything else entering the atmosphere are henceforth named satellites.

And anyone questioning this will be regarded as a terrorist.  If the eye witness accounts compare its size to that of jumbo jets it must have been some satellite.

So if extreme weather is attributed to man-made causes, and phenomena from outer space are referred to as satellites, do we still inhabit or believe in a natural universe,  or is that concept  so threatening it’s been replaced by an artificial one. A Twilight zone is plausible. Certainly it seems like one that’s devoid of all common sense and is intellectually barren and captive to vested  special interests.
