Seems as if 80% of all articles submitted to MyNews24 are way too serious. I think it’s time we toned it down and had some fun. Have you got talent?
Now forgive me if this comes across as me just using this platform to try solicit the attention of handpicked lady-qualifiers, that’s not my intention and I’d never wish to manipulate a public forum like this for my own selfish gains.
So having said that, let me quickly lay the foundation for my thinking here.
It’s quite strange really, but I’ve had some trouble communicating with woman in this country. Seems they don’t all get the charisma and particular style that is Emmett Wesley Garrett (probably a culture thing).
So combining that with my thoughts of doing something fun and light-hearted, I’d like to invite potential candidates to a live forum ‘audition’. It’s like the reality shows on TV where everyone competes but there’s only one winner.
The game: Interested ladies are invited to use the comments section below to write a short resume about themselves in terms of why they should be chosen and what they’d like to know about me.
The criteria: Only single ladies need apply and be honest about your looks. Age is not a biggy, unless you’re over 40 or something. Oh, and I like ‘em slim!
The prize: A romantic evening out with yours truly to a restaurant of my choosing here in Johannesburg (we go Dutch of course, until we’ve gotten to know each other a bit better).
So let’s see if SA’s really got talent and what talent we’re dealing with.
Also, if you could use a very recent picture of yourself in your profile, that will be awesome - will give me a sense of your size and what I’m likely to encounter, should you be lucky enough to get through to the next round.
Include in your brief resume below, any strange habits you might have that could be off-putting to a man, I don’t like nasty surprises.

Just a word to the guys here, all the Emmett-haters: Don’t get all jealous now cause I thought of this first. First-world innovation is at work here, don’t expect you guys to understand it.
