Here we go again

18 February 2014, 09:24
Ooooh boy, here we go again. A journo shooting his mouth off regarding motorbike cyclists before unlocking his brain.

I can understand his annoyance with motor cyclists, but let me immediately add that those annoying motorcyclists who think the roads belong to them and annoys the hell out of motorists are by far in the minority and unlike Thegandra Naidoo we must not generalise when airing our views. Also when reacting to such comments as were made by Thegandra Naidoo we must take care not to lower ourselves to the same depth that he sank into and that was exactly what his critics did.

Let us remember the roads belong to all of us and as such we must share and share alike NOT as "I like". Nothing annoys me more than when a motorcyclist is next to me and opens up full throttle emitting a blast of noise that almost ejects me from behind the streering wheel, or passes me and cuts in front of my car at a highly dangerous degree of closeness and as such I curse them - but they are in the minority.

I also accept the motorcyclist and cyclist cursing the motorist that dangerously skims past them and I often see this. However, in both cases it is not worth to go into road rage - "vloek" and get over it. Here read :- http://www.wheels24.co.za/News/Journo-slammed-in-kill-a-biker-row-20140217
