Reading more unscientific straw grabbing by a creationist this morning, I decided to pose another question I've been pondering to the god squad.
You're all very fond of saying that everything happens for a reason, and that god has a plan for everything. We're not in control. Let go and let god. Blah blah blah.
So, if the old invisible smiter upstairs is in control of everything, why do we have sin? Why do we need hell?
We're not in control, so the sin isn't our fault - it's god's.
If I suspend my disbelief in the religion myths for long enough to consider this possibility, there's only one conclusion I can draw.
God is an evil, sick, twisted old man.
