I have encountered many an atheist, from all walks of life who would love to be recognised as a “scientist”, even if the person in reality only holds the position of a junior clerk, a barman, a car salesman, a student, a supermarket manager, etc.
The majority of these proud self-proclaimed atheists I have met are relatively young (Below 40), apparently extremely rebellious in their quest for recognition as individualists, and, with the FANTASTIC scientific arguments they so recklessly and continually pose to justify their non-belief, it would infuriate me to be associated with any of them, had I been a true scientist!
Science has absolutely nothing to do with religion and visa versa! Science is a precise and calculable phenomenon whilst religious belief stems from the opposite brain lobe.
AND PLEASE!!!.... Don’t let them know, or even know of an atheist with senior citizenship status. Especially if this elder is senile enough to agree with one or more of their feeble insipid arguments! This person gets placed on a podium, becomes a prodigy in their circle, a GENIUS with experience so worthy of their respect…. He may just as well have been their god! Their modern day Merlin! They hungrily lap up every word of “wisdom” he speaks, eagerly putting it into their already overburdened bag of tricks, only to proudly present it as a closing statement to many a never-ending argument…. Magically pulling it out like a rabbit from a hat! Magic being the key word….a phenomenon we find more believable as it can be explained! Especially since the revealing exposure of all that used to be awesome magic is now freely available on TV and the internet.
Yep, wouldn’t they just love to be the ones to “expose” the “farce” they believe religion to be…the only problem would be finding the hidden tubes, transparent panels, secret chambers and other paraphernalia usually detectable in magic, as in religion there is none!
When they run out of scientific resources, they start criticizing all religion, finding fault with the way history had been recorded in the Bible or in any other religion’s documents, posing arguments based on their personal misinterpretations of what had been written and believed for centuries. Faith becomes a mind over matter argument. The endless possibilities of astral travel become a “reality” which can be implemented by sheer willpower and enough practise. (Something they battle to find time for in their busy day of working and arguing but will perfect someday!) Man comes from the ape… and the existence of fairies and leprechauns also become a real possibility! Their absolute unwillingness to recognise the few basic principles in life opens them up to so many “possibilities” that they in their infinite “wisdom” just cannot stop criticizing/ridiculing people who have accepted the fundamental basics.
I have given up the attempt to even try and argue with these wannabe scientific, bible punching atheists as they always believe that they have a thousand answers for NOTHING....God only knows how many answers they would have for SOMETHING!!!
I also know many a scientist who firmly believe in God, and the day I meet a scientist who has a concrete answer for everything man could possibly question, without posing some incredible theory based on credible material and mathematical formulas with fractional discrepancies, is the day I believe I would have met my CREATOR face to face!!
Any atheist, who fails to see how pathetic any scientific justification is for his inability to believe in anything superior to himself, hereby proves that he is nothing more than just another insecure mortal in search of something to believe in! Hopefully, one day when they have grown up and have opened their eyes to the miracles of life that surrounds them 24/7, they will choose to at least respect our Creator!
I know that this is possible as I myself have in my reckless youth enjoyed the “status” of being an atheist. I used to ENJOY the arguments, and when my victims turned away, the apparent victory tasted sweet! Little did I realise that they have just become bored with my perpetual stupidity and gave up their attempt to show me the light. No real victory in that now, is there?
I dedicate this to all the “wise men” who, like snickering hyenas, choose to leave their anonymous ridiculing comments, hiding behind their aliases, and patting each other on the back like a click of young school girls……I rest my case.
