I am once again amazed by the people on this forum. I was born in the apartheid era as I have said before, both my children was born after the birth of our democracy. And I have watched them play with their friends.
Now I have a few question for all the "grown-ups". Have you ever made the effort to just sit and watch a group of children play and interact? Have you ever noticed that they are color blind? They don't see their friends skin color or race. In their minds they see a friend, someone they can play with and have fun with. We as adults can learn so much from watching our children.
The thing is no-one is born a racist, they are made racists by the way they are raised and by the example set to them by the so called grown-ups of our country.
The next question I have is what are we doing to the future leaders of our country? Are we helping them understand their country's past or are we teaching them that intollerance and racism is the way to solve problems? Not being funny us as the grown-ups of the amazingly beautiful country need a major wake-up call. We are destroying any chance our children have of living peacefully in this country because we keep building up the fires of racism instead of extinguishing them.
So lets try and work together instead of against each other for the sake of our children.
