I have been away for quite a while. Some might have celebrated that I am gone, and gone for ever. I am sorry to disappoint them - I am around, very much around. With the elections beckoning in the horison, you'll hear a lot from me as I set the record straight on the State of the Nation.
Coming from an extended absence there is a lot of catching up for me.
The ANC has been its usual busy self to ensure that it keeps its part of the contract with the people of South Africa. Election after election the overwhelming majority of South Africa express their trust on the ANC and no one else. In 2014 we will see the extension of this mandate.
As President Jacob Zuma has expressed it on many occasions, the ANC will rule until the Second Coming.
In the build up to the 2014 Election the ANC is up and about to find out from South Africa what they want from their loving and caring ANC.
As the opposition and their fellow travellers in the media and commentators express their desperation, the ANC is having a walk in the park, assured of yet another overwhelming vote of confidence by the electorate.
I'll be at hand to offer my readers live commentary on the ANC easy walk to victory.
