I hate the taxman

06 December 2012, 12:31
THE  TAXMAN
A few months ago the taxman sent me a notification that I owe him R3241-23 for 2012 tax year.

Later I received another notification demanding R2853-05 for the 2011 tax year and they want the money like now.

They were so kind as to even tell me where to deposit the lolly. Well, they waited so long and I decided to follow suit. 2 weeks later I took the paper to Absa Bank but was told they could not help me because there is no Bank or deposit number on the forms. Back to SARS and A number was scribbled, with pencil, onto the form.

Smilingly and professionally Absa removed the cash from my account and placed it into the SARS account. 2 weeks later they sent me 2 notifications that they and South Africa, and Nkandla appreciate my charitable gesture of paying my tax so promptly.

Bloody hypocrites, leeches and  other odious things. I turned the papers over to see if a Merc was included in these ovations. Nothing as usual bloody riff-raff.

Despite everything said above and nothing done below and my sewerage still runs the local street races and very little happens with my tax and more to come next year:     I  STILL HATE  THE TAXMAN.
