Reading through the articles on Beeld and News24 everyday makes me more and more fearful.
We live in a beautiful country, rich in fauna and flora, great weather and great people. There is nothing more beautiful than a South African sunrise.
But with this beautiful sunrise comes heart ache and anger. More and more inncoent lives being taken by others.
I read in the news this morning about a young lady, 29, being shot and killed in Centurion. I knew her. Why kill a person for nothing? What did she do to the person who did this? She was kind, well liked young lady with a good heart. Minding her own business and then ... All gone.
A whole family destroyed in mere seconds.
I fear for the lives of my family and friends. My children; please God, may we never go through something like this! Has lives become so cheap?
My only prayer is that someone, with brain power, comes up with a solution for us to help fight these monsters. And soon.
