Is the ANC South Africa’s antichrist?

Over many years throughout the world, prominent leaders have been implicated as the antichrist. Hitler and Napoleon spring to mind. Let us see how the ANC fit these prophecies.

The antichrist will be a man - Daniel 7:24-25

To date, all the presidents of the ANC have been men.

He will uproot 3 kings from the original 10 kings to gain political power - Daniel 7:8

Maybe not literal kings, but important leaders, do we need to go further than Thabo Mbeki, Limpopo Premier Cassel Mathale, ANCYL leader Julius Malema?

He will ascend to power on a platform of peace. By peace, he will destroy many - Daniel 8:25

Twenty years ago Mr Mandela & Mr de Klerk received the Nobel Peace Prize, this is getting scary!

He will have a mouth speaking great things. Very boastful - Daniel 7:8

Mmm, I can’t think of any other leader that had a praise singer at Nelson Mandela’s memorial.

His look will be more stout than his fellows - Daniel 7:20

It must be all that KFC and fancy food.

He will understand puzzling things - Daniel 8:23

So true, Nkandla, the Arms Deal… the list goes on.

He will plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain - Daniel 11:45

Well Nkandla is in the mountains between the Atlantic and Indian oceans.

He will take away the daily sacrifices from the temple - Daniel 11:31

Most people can consider SARS to be a temple seeing that they get most of our daily sacrifices.

He will not regard the desire of women - Daniel 11:37

Now what did Mr Zuma say about Venda women again?

He will try to change times and laws; and they will be given into his power for 3 1/2 years - Daniel 7:25

Guess who is currently in the news for wanting to change the Constitution.

Finally, in 2008, Zuma declared that the ANC party would “rule until Jesus comes back”.  Now is it not a well-known fact that the antichrist will be running the show on earth at that time. This is what 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17 has to say:

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Maybe not all the prophecies are fulfilled, but it is a lot more than the required 30% for a pass mark.
