Private school: (free dictionary) - A secondary or elementary school run and supported by private individuals or a corporation rather than by a government or public agency.
Reality: (free dictionary) -
1. The quality or state of being actual or true.
2. One, such as a person, an entity, or an event, that is actual: "the weight of history and political realities"
3. The totality of all things possessing actuality, existence, or essence.
4. That which exists objectively and in fact: Your observations do not seem to be about reality.
Children who are sent to private schools in South Africa will only receive decoration and strength from remaining in the copper -mould. This being said, there is no individuality to be bred in a private school, as the thesis is on connections and bare back riding for want of a better term.
To mould a group of individuals into a group is dangerous as it erodes autonomy and creates false realities. Outside forces are always bigger than the group, and if the group is ill-equipped or ill-advised, there is minimal chance for sustainability. So essentially, what subjects are taught at school does not override the seemingly social connectivity – herd like mentality.
Perhaps spending your well earned money on sugar and water that will melt when there is no electricity to keep the fridge cold is not so clever after all?
