First off, I just want to say that I am a Jew and I love my religion, and don't turn this into a racist issue. Think about what I say then leave your comment and answer respectfully. Also, I want answers from Black people cause I want your perspective too. You guys didn't only have it bad during Apartheid so please I say again, answer respectfully.
I was watching Dreamworks' "Prince Of Egypt" the other day (if you haven't seen it, it's the animated tale from the story of Exodus of how Moses free'd the Jews from slavery out of Egypt) and it made me think alot about just how much, my people, endured so much hatrid, slavery, mass executions, torture etc...for over 3000 years...and today, Israel is a fantastic nation and offers SO much to the world! It's inspirational to know that we have come from a place wherewe can be proud of our heritage and stand up and say "we were slaves...now we are free and powerful people". That is a MONUMENTAL statement considering everything the Jewish people went through.
No other faction/group of people on the planet had it as bad as the jews. My ancestors had to endure slavery, building temples by hand for over 3000 years and living in dreadful poverty in the middle of the desert and then when the Holocaust happened, over 6million more jews were killed, just for being Jewish.
Besides that, A LOT of my people endured hardships...and even so the Holocaust is the most recent god-awfulthing to happen to the Jewish people, we don't complain about how bad it was back then, or, how much suffering was endured over 100 years ago etc...We instead looked towards the future and see prosper. We don't blame others for our mis-fortunes.
Now, here is what I want to understand: Why is that, the black's (it's not racist, calm down), complain so much about their hardships of how bad apartheid was etc, and continue to say that you guys had it the worst...when it is CLEAR as day, the Jews endured the most suffering?
Why do you keep blaming others for your mistfortune and not try to move past like the rest of the world?? Yes. I never experienced apartheid, but think about this: According to HRC statistics, only 21 000 people died under the Apartheid regime up until 1994. Google it, it's true.
How do you justify that Black people are the most disadvantaged on the planet, when it is clear that my people had to go through everything 10 000 fold? Black people weren't the only disadvantage race. Yet you keep saying thatyou guys need to take the land for free, you want jobs for free, you want housing for free, you want money for free...It doesn't work like that.
Do you guys not even consider that maybe there are otherswho endured WORSE prejudice and misfortune other thanyourselves? Is it not possible that someone else can suffer as more than Black people?
This is not a racist question.
Why do you continue to live in the past and blame others when it is clear the rest of the world has moved on?
Us Jewish people don't go around ranting and raving that we had it bad, so and so many people died, we had a struggle etc...yet you guys keep saying how bad it was under Apartheid when it doesn't even scratch the surface of what the Jews had to endure 3000 years ago, and ontop of that, the Black Genocide doesn't even scratch the surface on how much theJewish Genocide endured.
IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. WHY ARE YOU LIVING IN THE PAST?? MOVE ON! BUILD A BRIDGE AND GET OVER YOURSELVES.
I am a Jew...and I have forgiven the Egyptian people, but I have not forgotten. But I don't go around blasting them saying it was all their fault. The rest of Earth has moved on...why cant you?
Answer me. I want to know.
