Julius the savior…
Here I am sitting in my car outside the local grocery store, ten minutes longer than I should, listening to JuJu trying to string together a few sentences in somewhat coherent English on the radio. Walking purposely through the store, confused and somewhat amused I suddenly realize how powerful…and dangerous this man has become….
Driving home I ponder why I actually wasted ten minutes in my busy day listening to his mindless drivel and it dawns on me… We are all waiting to hear what he will say next, what profanity will escape from his mouth next, to which we will spontaneously burst out laughing, or try and catch out jaws before they hit the floor. That is exactly why we waste precious time listening to this man’s brain farts and precisely why he has millions of impoverished uneducated minions hanging on every word he utters.
Don’t get me wrong he is a great actor and plays his audience perfectly, flashy cars when needed and enough "bling" to make any rapper jealous when required. On the other hand he can tone it down and look humble at any “massacre” site and turn the mourning party into a good old fashioned South African mob in no time. Let’s not forget although shunned by the political party that created him, there are still many in their ranks that support and bankroll him. I mean how else could he get away with the amount of insults he hurls at his once precious msholozi ?
African politics are dirty, it has and will always be that way, Julius has learned to play the game and if our current national leadership continues to handle the crisis situation we as South Africans are currently facing as badly as they have been doing. Then it’s only a matter of time before our eternal opportunist finds his base of power amongst those people shunned by government living next to our highways…
In conclusion I can only say I hope that day never comes. As a cheer leader and public speaker, amongst his followers, he currently has no equal. But as a Leader… he will probably be Africa’s bloodiest Dictator ever, and utterly ruin our beautiful country. I hope we realize the threat, in fact I hope Mr Zuma realizes the threat and deals with it as decisively as he does with wedding ceremonies and art galleries. Come on Jacob grow a pair and take control of your ANC and the country you were chosen to lead… if you don’t, then you might end up not having a choice in the matter.
