Just to be clear, evolution is a theory, right? Everybodyagree including Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Hindus, and Buddhists etc.
Since we are clear aboutevolution’s status it is also true that the theory of thermodynamics is alsojust a theory and so is Einstein’s theory of relativity and the theory ofquantum mechanics and the theory of probability etc. Creationists do not question these theories yetall of it is theories. They do not even insistthat physics text books are printed with a huge label across the cover whichsays, “Relativity is only a Theory”.
One seldom hear creationistsquestioning the theory of thermodynamics even though it is just a theory. Creationists often use the theory of thermodynamicsto try and disprove the theory of evolution. How interesting is that, using ‘just a theory’ to disprove ‘just anothertheory’.
The fact of the matteris that creationism is not a theory it is just mythology.
Atheists, scientists andothers do not object if creationism is taught at school or universitywhatsoever. They don’t even care if sucha text book has a banner printed across its cover which reads “Creationism isonly mythology”. They DO object howeverif creationism is taught as part of the science syllabus because it is notscience it is mythology.
Muslims and Christiansare welcome to teach creationism as long as it is part of the proper syllabus, mythology or religious studies if you will.
