Keep GOD in the loop in 2013.

23 January 2013, 11:31

How would you feel if people only asked your opinion after they have made up their mind? That is how the Lord JESUS feels. He is usually kept outside the loop - being consulted last or halfway, if at all. He is asked to provide journey mercies when the bags are already packed. To bless tenders documents which have already been bound. For wisdom only after the interview has been scheduled. He hears His name loudest when the situation has worsened.  He is often kept out of the loop yet He is the Creator of all loops.

Imagine being the One who ordains that the earth shall loop around the sun in 366 days, yet no one asks you what they should do in 2013. Or be the Looper of seasons – from spring, summer, and winter to autumn yet not be consulted when those seeds are sown. What would you do if they come knocking during the drought?  Yet God, who is rich in mercy, has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities – Ps 103:10.

What have you been planning for 2013? Have you asked like King David did - Lord should I go up or should I not? Just by asking you will have acknowledged Him in your way. The Lord wants to be participating in all projects in your life – small or big.  He will be glad to be of help. He is BIG enough to run small errands because He has no big ego to get in the way.

Prayer is the way to loop the Lord in on your plans. Or better still, to ask Him what you should be planning in the first place. But this can only happen if my people pray - 2 Chr 7:14. A new year is the best time to start a new loop. Not a time to recycle old loops but a time to launch a whole new cycle. Keep the Lord GOD abreast in 2013 by keeping Him in the loop - He creates them.
