Kevin Pieterson and the 57 Old Farts of Will Carling
The Kevin Pieterson saga, smacks of the one of 1995 when Will Carling England rugby captain had a go at the administrators of rugby. It will appear as if the administrators of cricket and the current captain do not take lightly to any criticism which is similar to the rugby crowd from 1995.
If you look at the first test, England were well and truly thrashed and made to look like a bunch of second rate players.
Had it not been for the intervention of Kevin Pieterson in the second test much of the same was on the cards, and now with the dropping of KP it will most probably be the case in the third test.
KP sent SMS messages to what he thought was a friend, only to discover that he was mislead and the friend was in fact the enemy – alls fair in love and war.
Obviously his critique of Strauss and Flower was most probably spot on as even though they have some how or other reached world number one status, this will soon be taken away, and with the style of their game it will not be achieved again in the near future.
Kevin Pietersen is probably one of the most talented players to reach there shores from South Africa, even though comments by members of the public their press are very derogatory and also insult South Africans as a whole.
They even go as far as insult us with regard to our assistance in the second world war, where our country men fought on their side, and our pilots were the aces of the skies and shot down more German fighter planes than these useless ingrates could achieve. Had it not been for us, their other allies and the USA England would have been a German colony.
Currently at any given time there are 4/5 South Africans in their cricket teams depending on the format be played, they are a lazy bunch and need players from other counties to boost their image of Queen, country, tea and cucumber sandwiches
