Let's Be Honest

26 April 2014, 19:30
Let's be honest Okay, so I'm sick and tired. Not of the government - although they aren't doing much to add to my enthusiasm, but that's for another day - but rather at life.

More specifically at these goddamned liars in our lives that keep telling us it'll all be okay.

I'm talking about everybody from our partners, parents, friends, pastors....anybody who's words sink and sip into our receptive brains on a daily basis. I blame these people for everything that is wrong with this world, not the Jews.

I know what you're all saying right now, that I've got no arguement, that I have everything twisted around. These are the good people, you'll say. They are everything - if there's anything at all - that is right about our lives.

But let me beg to differ. All our lives we've been told it'll all get better one day. That nothing lasts forever. Change will come. It'll all be alright, someday. But does it ever get better?

If it did then there'll be no need for us to be constantly told that one day it would, would there? I don't want to be the bearer of bad news people, but unfortunately I'm here to tell you that it doesn't get better.

In fact things get wronger and wronger until everything is all f**ked up. That's just life. But your wife isn't going to tell you that. Those aren't the sweet nothings your husband is going to whisper in your ear at night. And that's the problem.

Maybe things would actually get better if people would just be honest with each other. If a father was to look at his son's report card and say, "son, I have to be honest with you, school isn't for you kid.

Try something like working with your hands, plumbing maybe, but let's not waste money and send you to a very expensive university course son, as you can see, it'll just be like running on a treadmill."

know such a thing won't be the most fanciest thing ever said, but in the long run it might actually be the best thing the father ever said to his kid. I'm not a pessimist by any means. Rather, I am a realist. Like they say, hope for the best but always expect the worst.

The problem is that people don't want to think about the worst case scenario. They form a mental-block for it. You've seen them before, outside the exam room just before writing; you see them talking to themselves - meditating - saying things like I'll be fine, I'll do great, even though I didn't study everything will go well.

We've all seen them. In fact we are THEM! We do this because of one thing, fear. We're afraid to admit. To admit to other people, but more especially to ourselfs, that....to put it plainly, sh*t is f**ked! And until then, until we get to that point where we're honest with ourselfs, things, our things, will continue to crumble to the ground all around us and we will continue to wonder why they're doing so.

Let's be honest here, Jews aren't the problem. The devil isn't the perpetrator, or indeed even instigator, of our problems. Demons aren't to blame, like the pastors will have us believe. At this point people usually conclude that we ourselfs are to blame for our own problems, and this is where I humble request to oppose those people. I say them, the supposed 'good guys'.

The elected support system of our lives. The ones we turn to upon for that wise piece of advice. They are the ones we turn to when we don't know what to do anymore. They are the ones which fail to tell us what we NEED to hear, and instead they tell us what we WANT to hear.

They are the problem. They're what's wrong with our lives. That woman/man you sleep next to every night, they are the reason your life isn't where it should be. I think I've made my point, I rest my case!
