Recently I read an interesting opinion here regarding the noise made by motorbike riders. Now I want to have my say about dogs and yes I know I am going to get shouted at! Don't get me wrong I am a dog lover and I used to have dogs of my own but at present I work all day and am often away at the weekend so I have decided to not have any dogs for now.
I feel that it is unfair to the dogs to leave them alone all day and then what do I do with them on the weekend when I am away....dogs HATE kennels.My whine today is about the pure inconsideration of dog owners for their neighbors.I have recently moved from an apartment to the suburbs and thought that I would have a lovely peaceful life....WRONG!
If it is not my motorbike riding neighbor, its people setting their alarms off at all times of the day and night....come on guys, this is not rocket science!!!!BUT the dogs, the dogs. They bark incessantly. Where are the owners, are they deaf or simply not there and content to allow their dogs to terrorize the neighborhood.
I think I am a very good neighbor. I don't have noisy dogs, I know how to operate my alarm, I don't play noisy music so why am I surrounded by people who simply don't give a dam about other people.The other thing that really bugs me is the people who take the ( unleashed) dogs for a walk in order for them to not relieve themselves in their garden but outside my gate.
I know the dogs have to go but have the decency to pick it up so I don't step in it when I go out of my gate. This is a symptom of the way society is degenerating at the moment. The " I am all right Jack, and I don't give a monkeys about anybody else" attitude. This is part of the reason we live in such a lawless country.If everybody just gave some thought to not disturbing other people with their noise then life would be better for all of us.
