I'd like to comment on the article "SARMF defends ANC's Jesus claim.
I don't know what's more shocking: the fact that the ANC has sunk to such a ridiculous level or the fact that the article offended even me, a non-religious person.
What a load of hogwash! The SA Religious Ministers are obviously just as deep into the Zuma-pocket as those who devotedly hang on to his every word. The same people who would change their minds in a flash should Zuma go down.
I can't help but wonder how the Muslim community would have responded if the ANC had equated Zuma to Allah. Or Ishvara or Adibuddha.
I think, and this is only my humble opinion, that Jesus would be quite offended to be put in the same category as Zuma. If the ANC believes Zuma is like Jesus; if they believe he suffers or is persecuted like the Christian icon then where are the records of Jesus standing trial for rape or corruption?
Does this mean that people should now sing "Bring me my machine gun" instead of "Silent Night"? The ANC should put down that machine gun and stop shooting themselves in the foot. It's cringeworthy.
