'Cowards and backstabbers'

21 April 2009, 13:05

Dear Editor,

As we are a day away from the national vote, I and the rest of South Africa have observed with horror and disgust the calibre of leadership in the current ANC and future Cabinet Ministers.

The ANC is full of men and women who are cowards, backstabbers and careerists who would do anything to protect their jobs and privileges

They do all this in the name of the "people" and they treat take the very same "people" they claim to represent as their voting slaves and possession.

As we go to the vote, I would like to place on record that SA is in for a massive down-turn, not because of racial reasons but the calibre of leaders coming into our government.

To the current ANC, being patriotic, more so when you are black, means belonging to the ANC; do not criticise them and if you criticise they must "like" your criticism! What a shame!

To my observation, those that served with former President Thabo Mbeki and approved and voted on his leadership, are dead quiet as he is being attacked by the power drunk Fikile Mbalula.

To prove how stupid Mbalula is, how can he address Mr Mbeki as "comrade" when he despises him so much? Does he know the real meaning of the word and when to use or not to use it?

Mr Kgalema Motlanthe is a lonely voice within that chaotic ANC who can be sober and show comradeship by speaking out when necessary. My heart bleeds as the "black on black" violence has been brought back by this ANC, not in gun and sticks but in deadly words and pulling down of fellow South Africans.

The big question: What kind of leadership is this? What kind of example are they setting for the man on the street? What did we as ordinary South Africans do to deserve this kind of leadership?
