Dear Editor,
In the News24 article, Rumsfeld 'is inspired by God', Peter Pace declares that "Rumsfeld is inspired by God".
Hmmm, would that be the "god of war"?
Would that be the "god of death"?
Would that be some kind of anti-Christian god of vengeful destruction?
I would offer up the savage slaughter of 650 000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children as proof positive for theological determinations.
Rumsfeld is a monster the likes of which our world hasn't seen since the decline of the Third Reich.
For Pace to cavalierly suggest that Rummy is "inspired by God", is a sickening display of sycophantic butt-kissing and is galling to one's moral core.
It was Jesus that stated that, "by their fruits you shall know them." Rumsfeld, Pace, and the entire murderous administration of George Bush are condemned by what they say as well as what they do.
