ON Wednesday, April 13 we attended a drug abuse awareness gathering at the city hall.
Group leaders from the audience presented informative speeches that dealt with the causes and effects of, and solutions to, the epidemic.
After the presentations, people took a stand that they are willing to quit substance abuse without anyone forcing them to do so.
We believe that it was God’s mighty work because no one persuaded the people to take that decision. We learnt that we must not judge others, but we must show compassion.
To the teachers and everyone who organised that campaign, we wish to say may God strengthen you and bless you more. You are our heroes.
You taught us that we must never give up on our youth.
