ANOTHER giant tree in our forest has fallen. Seems that this space is so huge, so obvious, but for the memories we treasure we can bear the missing somehow.
Tony Dempster was not only a long-time neighbour but a friend and personal physician to us and our families.
One of his many talents was the way he made you feel as a patient.
He never rushed but took his time. His kind nature alone made one feel better. Day and night we could ask for his help.
Tony was not only qualified as a medical doctor, but had a BSc degree. Sometimes we shared a glass of red, appreciating his vast knowledge of the vine.
Tony’s placid nature was well-loved in our area as well as the old-age homes he visited as their doctor.
He especially loved orchids and tenderly tended to them and knew each one by name.
His huge personality is so missed that we will treasure his memories as a fine human being.
So, Tony, we all salute you and are thankful that we had the privilege to know you.
The little gate between our properties was such a good idea and we will keep it open.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
