A long time ago there was a book about a Superhero. This book was not a bestseller as at the time of publication there were many books about Superheroes. In most of these other books there was not just one Superhero but many so you could choose your favourite.
Then a few people had the bright idea to revamp the book by giving their Superhero a partner. Whilst most people agreed on the general plot of the sequel, 4 versions of the story were in the final. As no one could decide which variant would be the best, someone got the notion of putting all 4 variants into the book and add a summary. Unfortunately sales of this sequel did not get off to a good start with most people preferring the original book. Then the big Celebrity Star of the day bought a copy of the new improved book and sales started to take off.
The Celebrity Star got his entourage to all buy into this new book. Not only did he get his entourage to get the new book but he sent his fan club out to “persuade” other people that it might be in their best interests to get hold of a copy. Soon arguments and fights erupted as to who thought they were the bigger fans of the Superhero and his partner.
The only problem with the 4 sequels was that others thought the plot was not to their satisfaction. Their idea was that the Superhero did not have a partner as such but had faithful followers. To the disdain of the Celebrity Star entourage, this new book became a best seller almost overnight.
Though the Superhero and many of the characters were the same in both books, the devotees of each version were soon at each other’s throats as each believed they knew in which direction the story should go. After many fistfights, each side still hating each other, they decided the best way forward was to “convince” others that their version of the Superhero story was the best.
The successors to the Celebrity Star entourage, then went about convincing people to buy their version of the story, using methods that would make SS Einsatzgruppen blush. That also included anybody trying to set up rival fan clubs to the Celebrity Star entourage. These persuasive and hard sell methods were used to sell the book in many parts of the world.
The problem with the devotees of the above books is that each group thinks that they know all there is to know and nobody is allowed to have different ideas. Populations have been wiped out because they preferred one book over the other or they had never heard of these books.
These actions prove that though many know their respective books they have never read them. This to me is proof that what is written in these books is pure and utter fiction, as I am sure if Superhero existed he would not have allowed all of this carnage and mayhem to have happened.
