Long distance learning

18 May 2013, 17:50
So today I found a course that I think I can I will be capable to doing , not because it may be easy, but rather because I feel I may have the attributes to do it .

Then I say the costs.... Eina... Unisa is not cheap it seems. then again I have read reviews , both negative and positive, the same can be said for Damelin. Then what starts out as a great roaring fire , quickly subsides to a few embers , once you realise that even though it will be great to learn Industrial psychology , the needs for it is the little "dorp" you stay in may not be needed.

It is so sad that passion can and will often be killed by finances and geographical location. So looking at it now it is rather obvious. A job is something you do to earn you living or your keep, a career is something that you are trained, skilled and passionate about that earns you an income. Is this why there may well be "jobs" available , but very few "careers"?

A career is something that when you wake up in the morning , you get out of bed and say "Lets see how I can help or assist others today" . A job is something that when you get out of bed in the morning makes you say "I know there is going to be lots of crud laying ahead of me today, only the depth will vary."

Long distance learning is possible, it should also be a long term goal. Anyone got tonights lotto numbers so that I can jumpstart my Career ? So I can befree from my job? Any suggestions on online study course or long distance learning, pitfalls ect would be great folks.

Thanks
