Loosen up a bit

30 January 2013, 13:06

I know new24 is a space for news, where people with ties and heels spend most of their time, serious people who take life seriously, well because life is a serious matter. But once in a while it has to be fun; it has to be worth it. I know some don’t even have time to smile, because there is too much wrong that is going on around, and they feel obliged to fix all the wrong and I have much respect for that, but once in a while we all need to let our hair down, laugh a bit, care a bit and just live just a little bit or maybe more.

We have so many bitter people on the cyber space, just waiting to bully others, swear or say the meanest things, some live on the cyber space just to make other peoples life miserable, they would go out of their way to spread hate. Sometimes I wonder which world they love in, but I sure imagine it is one messed up world. Yes I understand people are faced with numerous heart-wrecking challenges and some are not rude or bullies because they want to, but it is the hurt that lingers in their soul, that they feel it is not enough just for them alone to suffer, someone has to suffer as well. But this article is not about the cyber space bully that goes on, or how mean, judgemental people can really be, but this is a challenge to you who is reading this, challenging you to just let go a bit.

When last did you take a long work, and watch the sun set? When last did you watch the clouds form different shapes? When last did you watch the stars and try and count them? When last did you just laze around and spent some time in your fantasy world, I know this is all too childish for “the grown-ups” but maybe that’s why people are so stressed, because everything is so serious and there is no time to just let go and smile a bit.

Loosen up a bit, if you haven’t done “these childish” things in a while, maybe you should, stop focusing on all the wrong that you are blinded to see all the right, all the beauty and all the laughter, you actually missing up on life.

Start focusing on the good of your family, the good of your job, the good of your neighbours. Stop being so judgemental, negative and tight, yes we have challenges but can you loosen up a bit. Start living already, make yourself happy, laugh at your stupidity, tell yourself you are beautiful. Remind yourself how important you are, how special you are and how valuable you are. Go out for a comedy night and laugh out loud.  Live a bit, smell the roses, walk in the rain, I know all this sound like some chick-flick movie, it sounds like that because you have forgotten how to live, or you have never lived at all.

Stop being so unfriendly, moody, spiteful and hateful, I know it’s your life and you choose how you live it, but live it beautifully.  This life is for living, this life is for choosing, this life is for loving. Let your hair down, loosen up and live a lot.
