MDC Wants to talk to ZANU PF

07 February 2014, 13:24

The MDC seems to have forgotten why it was formed. After a  ten year suffering for the people working to dislodge ZANU PF they decided to join ZANU PF in the so called coalition government. Their leader became a prime minister in Mugabe's cabinet. They abandoned people who had fought alongside them sacrificially and wholeheartedly. People died, were maimed, lost homes, lost loved ones and lost even their dignity supporting the MDC only to be betrayed.

The few MDC guys who got onto the gravy train of the coalition thought Mugabe was preparing them to be the next government only to get a rude awakening. Now that they are off the gravy train they want to talk to ZANU PF. Talk what? The reason for the elections was to get rid of the coalition and separate the ruling party from the opposition and that happened.

I am not sure if the MDC does not have advisors or their advisors are as bad as their decisions. The people of Zimbabwe need an opposition party not a supporting arm of ZANU PF. If they have run out of ideas they should leave office and pave way for new blood.

Zimbabweans need better!
