Malema is the biggest threat to SA

31 May 2014, 15:03

Julius Sello Malema. A man who has never worked a day in his life but somehow manages to owe the taxman R16 million. The man who wanted to die for Dr. Jacob Gedeyihlekisa Zuma in 2007 but is now his sworn enemy. Julius is the biggest threat to South Africa.

I hear a lot of people prophesying that should the EFF govern one day, Malema will lead in an autocratic manner like Mugabe and enjoy the resources of the country while millions of South Africans suffer.  I think this is an insult…to Robert Mugabe. Call him what you want, Mugabe loved the people of Zimbabwe. From the time he was getting educated in South Africa until the day he led in the formerly known state of Rhodesia, Mugabe had nothing but good intentions for his country and his people. I would even make a bold statement and say that Britain are the one's that set him up for failure.  Mugabe is an intellectual who wanted to free his people from European colonialism and emancipate them.

On the other hand we have Julius Malema. The self proclaimed son of the people. The people he stole millions in his home province of Limpopo. The people he spat at by building a multi million rand mansion at Sandton, just a stone’s throw away from the poor people of Alex.  Malema always accuses Dr. Zuma of being a dictator but if dictatorship had a face, all Malema needs to do is look in the mirror to see the face of dictatorship.

Here is a man who claims to share the pain of the millions of the poor yet while he was still riding the gravy train as a tenderpreneur, he never gave a cent of his money to uplift them. He now claims that he will die for his people. Isn’t this what he said about Zuma a couple of years ago? As much as I have no respect for the ex-convict Gayton Mckenzie, that open letter prior to the elections was spot on.

I blame the media for elevating Malema’s status to one where he thinks he is untouchable. Now we are dealing with a serious problem here. This one man threatens all our livelihoods rich and poor. This country that we built over hundreds of years, where our political leaders fought and gave up their lives to see prosper will demise in no less than 5 years with him at the helm. Mark my words. The only people who will benefit from the nationalization Malema talks of are his real people, Mgxitama, Floyd and the rest not the poor people he claims as his own.  When SA is a banana republic he will not be suffering. He will be hiding behind his high walls in Sandton.

The people that will be suffering are you and I, the hardworking, taxpaying, innocent and honest people of South Africa. Is our unfounded discontent of Dr. Zuma enough to give our country to the dogs? Is it enough to compromise the millions of South Africans social grants and ARV treatment that would wipe out millions of Black South Africans within a few years? Shouldn't we rather be grooming a leader within the ANC in the mold of the of the late former President Rolihlahla Mandela? A leader of the ANC that the people will be proud of. A leader who will lead the country to economic glory while radically addressing the injustices of the past. A few names come to mind when I speak of such leaders. The likes of Trevor Manuel, Kgalema Motlanthe, Naledi Pandor, Nkosazana Zuma, Malusi Gigaba and many more leaders of the ANC.

Dear people of South Africa, yes we are angry with the complacency that the ANC is showing of late. However burning your house to get rid of a cockroach is not the solution. Malema is so conniving, I bet he was the snake in the Garden of Eden that misled Adam and Eve. He is leading our people astray with his comical media briefings and public speeches. The leadership of the ANC should go to the poorest of places in SA, humble themselves and talk to our people and make them see Juju for what he is. A hypocrite who says that he wants to inspire people by wearing expensive clothing instead of inspiring them to get an education and contribute in building this country. Should this not be done we are heading on a one way downward spiral.

With this said, I still prefer EFF as the official opposition. It is a bad alternative for Black people. In life we are here to look after our own interests. That is the cold truth. The DA can never have our best interests at heart.  Parties like PAC, COPE and UDM need to come out of their shadows and become an alternative for the people disgruntled by individuals within ANC.

To the media, members of the ANC, business people and people who are on social grants. Let us put out this small flame called Malema before it becomes a wildfire. Let us not give him the one thing he thrives on…attention.
