Malema’s EFF unruly crew disrespecting Mandela

11 December 2013, 13:12

One should note that what happened at the FNB stadium during the memorial service of our late former president nelson Mandela, who is one of the, if not the greatest peace maker who has lived in this world, what occurred there is really unfortunate and is a cause for concern.

The booing of the president of the republic of South Africa on live television watched by billions of people around the world, by Malema’s crew and or gang seriously tainted the image of our beloved country

Such also was the EFF’s showcasing of its disrespect for this beloved world icon’s spirit as it continues to live.

It is highly disturbing that Malema’s  party of mafias, gangs and thugs who claim to be economic freedom fighters, have during this time of national mourning declared by their deeds and behaviour, that it is their time for electioneering

I believe that no matter how you disagree with the policies, programs and action of the government of the time, such disagreement should never make individuals, citizens, especially true patriots, lose focus of the broader picture.

It is indeed highly disturbing that Malema, through his unruly and rowdy supporters who most of them are proud looters, and want to be given the right to officially loot, chose that the memorial service of the father of our nation Nelson Mandela, is the time to launch their petty election campaign while on the other hand other political parties like the ANC, IFP and I believe the DA for once, suspended all electioneering activities across the republic in honour of our founding father Nelson Mandela’s spirit which will forever remain a force for good in our country and the world.

I believe that all right thinking, and I repeat, right thinking citizens and patriots of the republic of South Africa, and all those across the world who hold our President Mandela’s vision for this country in high regard, should and will condemn the acts of EFF yesterday, it is only a correct thing to do.

The fact that the so-called Economic Freedom Fighter, dubbed the Expelled Frustrated Fools by the large section of our country, decided that out of all events it could have chosen for its electioneering, it chose what was meant to be a dignified memorial service of a legendary and extra-ordinary person like Nelson Mandela, is really a cause for concern, it shows how UnAfrican malema’s crew has become.

Such should ring alarm bells to all of us who cherish the ideals that this great man stood for.

Malema and his EFF crew have officially shown to south Africans, even those who were thinking of voting for them in the upcoming 2014 national general election, that they are a power hungry organisation which will stop at nothing in their quest to try and attain the levers of state power for their own personal ends

The kind of ill-discipline witnessed in the Nelson Mandela memorial service, ill-discipline which was orchestrated by the EFF is uncalled for and should be really rejected, that embarrassed our country, a country that is now known for its humbleness and discipline

I believe Julius Malema must apologise to the Nation.

So I submit
