Mandela Day? Naaah!

15 July 2014, 10:55

It’s silly season again – time to revamp, refurbish, and add to the ever-growing myth of the Mandela “legacy.”

A fish is the only creature on Earth that keeps on growing after it has died. To test this, simply ask a fisherman to use his hands to describe the size of his latest catch. Wait a year and ask him to do this again. You will notice that his hands are now held further apart. This is because – in his mind – the fish has been growing after it has died.

Just like the so-called Mandela “legacy.”

Am I the only one in the godforsaken Ar-se of Africa (RSA) who thinks that the true “Mandela Legacy” is one of corruption, rampant crime, greed, incompetence, poverty, collapsed infrastructure, and constant struggles between comrade Mandela’s communist cronies?

Am I the only one who refuses to celebrate mediocrity and failure?

Am I the only one who is sick and tired of hearing the same old lies being repeated year after year?

Be honest now, how much has your standard of living improved, due to the “legacy?”

I’ll tell you what the 46664 legacy has done for me:

Burglar bars, security lights, devil-forked walls and guards at the entrance to my “security complex.” I belong to our Community Policing Forum. I patrol the neighbourhood – using my own car, radio, petrol, and time – because the cops are too useless, corrupt, and untrustworthy to do the job they are paid to do.

I have had to buy a generator and extra gas bottles because of the frequent black-outs caused by cable theft and Eskom’s incompetence. I have installed a 2 000 liter water tank and filter system, because of frequent disruptions to our water supply.

BEE, AA, and crime, have forced many of my friends and family to move overseas to find employment and a safe environment in which to raise their children.

I see hundreds of unemployed, young black men (mostly Zimbabweans and Mozambicans), sitting on sidewalks – waiting for handouts.

Almost every traffic crossing has its resident beggar.

City centres have become cesspools and garbage dumps with squatters invading derelict office buildings.

White farmers and rhinos are being killed every day. But score is only kept of the number of dead rhinos.

The so-called “Constitution” isn’t worth the paper it is printed on – I spit upon it. The Constitution is supposed to ensure that the government guarantees the safety and security of all of the country’s citizens. This has not happened at all! The rest of the contents of the Constitution of the Ar-se of Africa, are nothing but a crock of sheet. And it stinketh…

No one is safe. Not whites, not blacks, not coloureds – nor any other politically correct shade, tint, tone, or nuance under the “Rainbow Nation.” Not babies, males, females, she-males, atheists, believers, disbelievers, wiccans, bunny-huggers, or goats, or chickens, or pigs. Especially pigs.

No one.

Currently we are experiencing more strikes and riots than ever before – far more than before the time Mandela saddled us with his “legacy.”

I won’t even mention Mandela’s own embarrassing family of scandalous jokers. They only serve to prove my point.

The truly sad thing is that the “legacy” of lies are being brainwashed into the heads of the youth. Like mindless little robots, they get forced into singing: “We love you, Tata. We love you, Tata.” Without knowing that “Tata” is a myth.

So: You go right ahead and spend your 67 minutes celebrating Mandela Day. I shall be patrolling my neighbourhood – guarding against criminals who are “free” to enjoy Mandela’s “legacy.”
